Presentation of the literary work of the author Mrs Panagiota Christopoulou-Zaloni by our Literary Workshop

On Saturday 23rd November 2013 in the premises of Omilos Eksipiretiton, took place a successful presentation of the work of the distinguished poetess, painter, prose writer, author Panagiota Christopoulou-Zaloni.

 

The event was organized by its original and unique way the team of the "Literary Workshop" and was honoured by the presence many people of the Spirit, outstanding authors, poets and lots of friends of the arts.

 


 

Mrs Paraskevi Kostopetrou, poetess-economist, head of the Literary Workshop, prefaced and coordinated the presentation. She spoke about the wide work of Omilos, which works continuously through Poetry and Literature, through all of the Arts, the philosophy and sciences so that human being will realize the greatness of thyself.

 

The event began with a video that helped us learn basic elements about the personality and the work of the poetess. Then, Mrs Vassiliki Ergazaki, poetess-mathematician, member of the Literary Workshop, who studied and deepened into the work of Mrs Zaloni, did the main presentation.

 

 

People who also spoke were:

Mr Dinos Koubatis, director, actor, author and founder of the cultural association "To kafeneio ton ideon" established in Salamina.

Mr Stavros Stavrou, philologist, historian and author as well as the author and poet Mr Nikos Batsikanis.

Mr Christos Skiadaresis, philologist and poet presented Mrs Zalonis' book "kathirimena asteria".

For her work in Albania spoke the poet Mr Spiros Tzavaras.

 

 

The team of the Literary Workshop presented one more video with the poem "Ti mayia" from the book "Sto pelagos tou oraiou".

 

The event was concluded by the speech of our guest who thanked our literary group by saying that she has never been offered such a lovely presentation again and things like these presentations are supporting the poets to continue their work.

 

A small reception was followed, in the premises of Omilos, where we were given the opportunity to know each other better.
