The poem "Ifigenia" by Vassiliki Ergazaki received the 1st prize - member in our Literary Workshop - at the 4th Literary Contest in Poetry "Vravronia 2014" which was organized by the Cultural Association of Artemida-Spata.

The results were announced in an official ceremony, on Saturday 12 July 2014, at the ideal environment of hotel "Mare Nostrum". In the sounds of the chorus "Vravronia Artemis" and the orchestra, attendees were led to a magical journey of poetry set to music gazing at the sacred Vravronia.

The poem "Ifigenia" was published at the weekly political and social newspaper of Attica "Attiko Vima" on Friday 25th July (issue 1036, p. 20, www.attikovima.gr).

Ιφιγένεια

Ήμουν εκεί…

Ορθή στο βωμό της Θεάς,

ντυμένη σκιές

μιας θυσίας αρχέγονης

Οι σπονδές μου στυφές,

οι αιώνες μου θήλαζαν κάθαρση.

Ήρθες εκεί…

Ταξιδιώτης βροχής,

με τα φτερά των δελφινιών

και των ανέμων,

μιλώντας τη γλώσσα

ελεύθερης θάλασσας.

Ηχούσαν προτροπές στο στερέωμα.

Ήταν ο Δίας, ο Ουρανός,

οι Πλειάδες,

ο Άρης με τη φανερή του έριδα,

η Αφροδίτη,

ο Έρως του έρωτα

Τολμηρή η Σελήνη

ασήμωνε τη θάλασσα.

Φύγαμε, φύγαμε…

Ξεφύγαμε τις Συμπληγάδες,

στην άπλα της πηγής μας

πορευτήκαμε.

Σ’ ένα νεύμα ψυχής,

στην ιέρεια Γη

καθαρές τις χοές επιστρέψαμε.

Στο θέατρο σκιών

ήμουν η Χίμαιρα,

η λυπημένη Ώρα

Ταγμένη στο φως

Ηθοποιός.
