Our participation in the 2nd European Biblio/Poetry Therapy Conference in Finland

During the first week of October 2025 we participated in the 2nd European Biblio/ Poetry Therapy Conference in Finland with two presentations, one on Chorodromena and the other on the method of deepening into poetry and literature with which we work at Omilos Eksipiretiton (the Servers’ Society).

In the first presentation, the President of Omilos spoke about Omilos’s position that every person can be well and explained how, with Chorodromena, we experience the power of stillness along with the breadth and freedom of movement, thus learning to live life to the fullest! This was followed by a video about the work of Omilos and then a presentation on Chorodromena, with lots of photos and videos, which sparked many questions and interesting discussions during our talk and afterwards.

The next day, during our second presentation, we referred to Omilos’ method of deepening our understanding of poetry.

The Wisdom of Poetry was revealed in our talk entitled “God Forsake Anthony. Revealing the Hidden Wisdom of Poetry. Where Poetry and Life meet,” which was opened by the President of Omilos.

Referring to Omilos’ method on deepening into poetry, he said that poems are created by the poets like flowers, so that Poetry can then be offered to the entity of humanity as a wreath of flowers. This was followed by an in-depth study of the poem “God Forsakes Antony” by C. P. Cavafy, which, as can be seen in the photos below, sparked a lively discussion with questions, thoughts, and impressions not only about the method of analysis, but also about Omilos’ position on the Human Being and Life!
