“…Without the love of good heart and thought from Omilos, nothing would have made sense…”
Michael Kwaku Kesse Somuah, a poet from Ghana and member of our Literary Workshop, was recently awareded by the President of Ghana for his achievements as a young poet. In the award ceremony he thanked and dedicated his award to us. Michael also won the award "World Youth Empowered Poet from Ghana" in Canada and he dedicated it to Omilos Eksipireriton, under the auspices of which Megas Seirios Publications operates.
Michael has met the work of Omilos and our literature group and he has been inspired by that. He travelled from Ghana especially to participate in our international seminar and to visit Omilos, “his family”, as he calls us. Moreover, he has invited us to his birthplace for organising lectures and events dedicated to arts, presenting our work and get acquianted with artists from Ghana.
As he says:
“Miss you dearest Evi and my Omilos family so much. Noble souls of Athens, I extend my greetings and warmth to Andreas, Vassiliki Ergasaki, Cristos, Pareskevi, Ade, everyone.
Please notify my family, their son has won an award in Canada as the World Empowered Youth poet. It’s to Omilos. I am scheduled to travel in April for the event. Without the love of good heart and thought from Omilos, nothing would have made sense. I love you soo much.
Regards from my parents and siblings and hope to reunite with everybody soon.
Michael”
With lots of love we wish him to keep on serving poetry with such warmth and win even more awards!
